I love the excuse to go all out with a seafood dinner for special occasions like New Years Eve or Christmas Eve! Shrimp, lobster and crab legs are all healthy seafood options full of lean protein that I’ve learned to cook over the years but felt intimidated by scallops. I found this recipe on youtube and it looked like what I was craving with the seared butter sides. Easy enough to follow along, my scallops turned out great! So, rather than reinvent the wheel, I suggest you tackle your next adventure with scallops by getting your recipe straight from the source: Smokin’ and Grillin’ with AB.
Two rules of thumb I’ll add that help you enjoy your scallops every time:
- Don’t overcook them. Seriously, use a timer.
- Eat them right away. They’re most delicious when freshly seared and hot!
